Start with an item list and photographs of the full pile. Include the approximate number of bags, furniture pieces and separate waste groups. A description such as a half load depends on the vehicle and agreed weight limits, so ask what it means in your quotation.

Heavy rubble and soil should be assessed separately from light bulky waste. Tell us whether the material is inside, upstairs or beside an accessible loading point. Those details affect the labour even when two collections occupy similar vehicle space.
