Reuse and appropriate recycling routes

Our policy is to consider reuse for suitable items and available recycling or recovery routes for the material collected. The practical route depends on condition, waste type and acceptance by an appropriate recipient or authorised facility. We do not promise that every load is fully recycled or publish an unsupported recycling percentage.

Identify reusable items before collection and keep them separate from damaged or contaminated material. Electrical items, special waste and other distinct streams need to be declared so the appropriate route can be assessed.

If a business requires evidence or reporting for a particular job, discuss it in the quotation. General collection photographs do not establish a downstream recycling outcome. Ask what records are available for the actual material.
